Hard to Say

I wasn’t in it for love so what am I to do?
I needed excitement but all I got was you
A lack of attention played with my mind
Should’ve just waited for the right time
Another two months on and I need a little rest
Try and think of a way to get it off my chest
Tell her we’re wasting both of our time
How do I explain that?
I don’t need all the aggravation
I might sound just a bit unkind
When I try for the conversation
To tell her stop it leave it
Can we just forget it?
