Hope Dies Last

The more I’ve seen across the years
The more I’ve lost belief
My BELIEF in HONOUR and HUMANITY
JUSTICE is a travesty
Every day — every single day
It is reconfirming my world view
Humans don’t deserve to live
Their extinction is overdue
And you’re saying: HOPE dies last
Don’t you realize times have changed too fast
Every day we live — with every breath
We are heading for our DEATH
How can HOPE luxuriate —
While we poison the soul with HATE
With JEALOUSY, BETRAYAL and GREED
I won’t stand for that indeed
Continue in the same style!
Close your eyes and keep your mouth shut
There’s no reason for a change of thinking (, is there?)
Or do I suffer from a loss of REALITY?
I want to stand up for a better world
For my children and for myself
