Eclipse

We used to share the love
The love resounding how we feel
The world we’re living in
The world that separates us apart
They say that we are free
But put shackles on our feet
Define what we can do
But they took away what we need
Through poetic ways and rhymes
We’re just pawns of all their crimes
We adrift in the sea of the lost
They keep haunting us like ghost
Eclipse above our heads
We keep acting like we’re dead
Are waiting for the sun
Or is darkness what we want
