Twas a cold summer’s day, we woke after noon
When a terrible tragedy occurred on our ship
Could not work out what was going wrong
The crews boot seemed dry, they were out of tune in song
Alas! Rummy Rackers was nowhere to be seen
Couldn’t remember where he had last been
Swiftly we turned and started to descend
Hope he’s alright and hasn’t met his end
Drinking’s no fun when it’s all said and done
A crew’s not a crew when you’re missing someone
The sun’s going down, the day’s almost over
Neil’s lost out there and what if he’s sober
We grabbed the map and retraced our course
A tricky task stood in front of us all
Each bar we checked, as bare as the last
No sign of our crew mate and time’s running out fast

We’ll search forever until you are found
Does any crew know where he may be
