The man no longer looked down
If something would happen
He couldn’t do anything
He was alone on the street just standing there
Sometime in the afternoon
Most of the kids were out now
She ran to the bathroom to fix her face
She looked herself from the mirrow
Liked what she saw
He stayed at the bar until about midnight
Then he phoned her: «that's what I asked,
What do you want from me»
All the boys were high now
There was too much rumbling around
He drove around for a while
The radio was playing
Some of the kids were still outside
He didn’t want to be worried
