The Resurrection

Run! Just run away they say
But no longer will I let defeat take me
Bored stiff, with nothing else
Now I’ll claw my way out, from this grave that I have dug
Why must I always be this way?
My mind has decayed and I’m not okay
Wash away the blood and these tears
Erased every fear, so I can sleep better at night
When I thought the end was near
I quickly realized that was all just fear
Burnt by failure, corrupted this
Now I accept, that it’s part of the risk
Burnt alive I see myself crawling back to the hole
That I once called my home
Been digging deeper and deeper
Now I am friends with the Reaper
I am truly a lost soul
And now I’m back from the dead!
Back for vengeance
And when I push through the dirt
I arrive at the Earth and it’s like a rebirth
When I leave this grave
The sound wave is all that I crave
I’ve been-
I’ve been fucking hiding
While everyone’s climbing, I’ve been fucking dying
Stuck in a grave, I’ve been decayed, but now is not too late
Watch me Resurrect up from the grave
You can take my sanity, but can’t touch my vitality
I’ve been to hell and back
Tried to get my life on track
But now is the time
To nut up or shut up, and survive
