1000 Prayers

Someone made a wish for me today
Blew mercy into the air
In a whisper i could hear them pray
There’s hope in the dreams we share
It breathes in me till i can see
That someone still believes in me
I know your heart but not your face
You travel in a state of grace
Where faith is all we have to make it better
Without this love where would i be
A thousand prayers are holding me together
I tried every remedy on earth
But nothing could make me whole
Now i know that life is only worth
What you’ve got inside your soul
What gives me strength to carry on
Will live long after we are gone
After all is said & done
And all the tears are cried
I know GOD’s greatest gift to me
