Clarabelle will chase the devil from hell
With the kind of way she does smell
Anytime she pass you could tell
All alone, not a sweetheart to call her own
In the dance you could hear she groan
«My heart isn’t made of stone»
Everybody laughing, everybody glad
Me the mamaguy and things really looking bad
«Even if I got to pay him
I must catch a man before morning!»
Like a savage, she face always in a rage
And even though she have courage
She fat and she down with age
She can’t dance, but she huff and puff for romance
Anytime that she could get a chance
Jumping in any pans
Everybody laughing and everybody glad
Me the mamaguy and things really looking bad
«Even if I got to pay him
I must catch a man before morning!»
A straight scotch, a double rum on the rocks
«Dou-dou why you drinking so much?»
She hold me and start to touch
Bawling «Hurray, ah catch a big one!» she say
Then the woman drag me away
And swept me off for the whole day
Everybody laughing, everybody glad
Me the mamaguy and things really looking bad
«Even if I got to pay him
I must catch a man before morning!»
