Lions Roar

So long, we’ve felt hard our lack
And furrows ran deep in our backs
While fables scattered minds,
And we saw faith flee and waters rise.
As the men we were, we lost our tongues and hearts.
As the men we were, we forgot what’s ours.
Well I say 'no more'!
When lions roar, into the sea.
Drown out the lies that built up walls and made us small
As lions roar into the sea
We Come alive!
Stay close oh brother and friend
They’ll see us split into Islands.
Have we forgotten from where we have come?
Who we are and what we have done, til now?
