I gently slither my way through this town
On my steel horse that’s been rusted from the rain
Window blinds leak rays to light my way
I feel, I see your face through all of them
I can see you
You can see me
How about us?
Is it too much?
All the California IPA can never hide your face
Can’t get drunk enough to clear you of my head
The sun comes out and paints the whole town red
And all the blurred-out shapes go up in flames
You’re gone when I get home, so I miss the chance
To say I’m hopelessly devoted to you
So hard to see each other
So close to one another
What if we close our eyes instead?
