Weight, incomprehensible
Covers the shoulders of lava
With solemn detest
Deep trench, whose slaves
Are unwelcome to enter
Whose skin covers your floor?
A human
His carcass obliterated
Pressurized
Blood spread thin
Across the sea floor
Joined with the water
Somehow
His shadow walks
Strands bleeding
Attached to
The cloaked vessels
Slowly angle his neck upward
To see sunken mother’s shadow, dead
A face’s silhouette
Grew out of the Earth
Its mouth screamed and cried
Trauma personified itself
As tectonic erosion
He who is the one who
Does not sleep
Is father of all
This weight, incomprehensible
Pulls everything into the mouth
Of Father Sub-aqueous
Deeper still we go
