Ten Gods

They marched through the night, now they are here
The torture, the burning, the town folk in fear
We raise one last cry of hope unto thee
but who 'mongst you all shall the superior be?
No morn of tomorrow my people will see
A life full of pain and oppression shall be
Put to an end with such cruelty
which one of you wished this fate upon me?
Today as we gather to try and repent
For sins of our own and of all of our men
We each have our idols, we each have our prayers
which one of you is at your merciful best?
You Gods! Answer me now.
