Lifting the mask
From a logo clown
Feeling fatality floating around
At once
Hearing and cheering
The money talks
Everyone’s nervous and everyone walks
Around
Then came the spotlight
It took her and left out of sight
Nobody noticed the vein in her eyes
As she left
Oh left them die
They let me down
Higher and higher
We’ll come for the light
Until she noticed that she reached the height
Alone
They beamed her so high
That alone in the night
The people that stood
Saw a star shining bright
So fly
Light, light up the world
Lone and in splendor
She took on a temper and jumped
The people that stood all in gazed and amazed
And said: «oh let her die»
She shone too bright
As she was drifting in sorrow
The thought on the morrow survived
As if redemption was horror
She knew she was better without
