I arose, early in the morning
Just as the dew was forming
She was there, the day we shared
In the meadow
The day is bright, and the season it is changing
My thoughts are rearranging
The forest springs and the larks they sing

The nights are long and the mornings they come early
The bindweeds they are curling
The flowers bloom and the summer looms
