You raised me from a boy into a man all on your own,
And every night you tucked me into bed when daddy wasn’t home,
You told me bedtime stories,
Made me breakfast every morning,
You gave me the only real affection that I’ve ever known,
And I know you are still missing daddy’s face,
No father figure needs to take his place,
