As I cave in the strangers rise
I pulled you in — derailed reflection, overdue
And only you can make this right
To transcend again, to be the light
to another life… so far out of limits
Beneath the drowning days is a quicker end
Will you submit, or will I relent
Throw all you feel and all you fear
into a great unknown with your decaying years

Why can’t we get along?
Why can’t you let it be?
