Born on the 11th, life gave me lemons
I squeeze the juice and drank it sour
Thanked it for its presence
Weapon was my poetry, the ink was all my venom
To allow me not to be okay so I can stop pretending
The voices in my head belonged to other angry rappers
To help me try move forward and to help my pain go backwards
I had memorized their bars to help me start to practice
Eradicate these chapters of my life that cause my sadness

Didn’t understand why everything around me moved me
Didn’t like to sleep in case I dreamt about a new me
And woke up feeling bookie 'cause I can’t escape this movie
'Cause this truly is real life and this is how my parents drew me
When daddy left, I could barely reach the letterbox
It was a weird day, nobody really said a lot
