Boxes

I have emptied out my closet
Cleaned up my house
I have given away the things I don’t need
Tidied up my home
I have put little things into boxes
The ghosts in the corners are lonely
I am leaving behind my possessions for someone else
I have made a fire of things I don’t want anyone to see

The walls fill the silence with echoes

I am going on a journey
