Where the wind blows
willow weep, water deep
running along by the weir
and the boat goes
on the water brown, whirling round
flashing his eyes at the sun
Sunday on the river
with the time flowing by
I catch the morning
row a while row, just lie back
and gaze at the sky
reeds are swaying
beyond their head, where instead
of gloomy walls, trees roll by
