Waking up in the Morning

Found in a surf green
Tiled bathroom with nothing in it
Except the pale light
(from the window and us two):
And flesh and hair
I sleepwalked with my
Second grade teacher
Her soft hand held mine
While I was soaking wet
Dayglowing lights in the basin
The ripples sending water back to where it came
From a little dirtier than before
Thick and disrobes as I customer service her
In dimly lit close quarters
I was kneeling and now I know why
