Waking Up at the End

I’m eleven years old in my bedroom
Trying to figure out these dreams of mine
Staring out at the stars from my window I think
«Well at least I’ve got plenty of time»
But summer days come and go just as soon as they start

In the middle of high school surviving
Lost my heart to a girl at first sight
Staying up late with friends to plan the rest of our lives
Saying we’ll get there some other night
