I've Come Home Again

I’ve come home again
To where it all began
And all those wondrous dreams were a prayer still unanswered
That warm and easy world
With it’s simple splendor
That wide eyed wishful boy so naive and tender
I’ve touched a star or two
Tomorrow if I try
Even brighter stars and prayers will be answered
And should the moment blind me
That little boy will find me
Hand and hand we’ll go home again
