Shapes on the curtain, but no clear view of you
You’re a warm bright window lighting up the rain
I catch a glimpse of the glow but I still remain
Outside where the shadows pool and bleed
Chimney silhouettes semaphore in a code I cannot read

A suggestion of a spring time to be
Crunching underfoot outlined in frost
