Golden eagle spreads his wings
High above in a windless sky
And a bare back rider on an open plain
We hunt together for our prey
Wagon train on an open trail
Eagle flies to protect his young
As they’re standing to face their foe
They’re too long, this land of hope
War drums beat to the dancing feet
Young braves high on a victory cry
Wheels are burning at the end of day
No survivors, dead they lay
Campfire burn as the braves return
Travel feast to the dead of night
