Mama's Family Bible

The estate is being settled, there was only one thing left
My mama’s family bible was laying on the chest
All the others they didn’t want it and that was plain to see
So I took mama’s bible home with me
One sister got the dishes and one the silver ware
And my brother took the radio and her old rocking chair
One by one all the pieces of her home was packed and hauled
But they left me the best part of it all
