You lay there till the end of the day
Hiding away a few needles in the hay
Cause all you know is time won’t stop
You get up when you can see the moon
By the window, but you think it’s too soon
Some people they’re still running in the street
You wait there and you don’t take a side
You keep floating and you sing all the time
And after all the world stands still
You go out to the river at dawn
