I just jumped off the mountain
13 acres sky high
Only way it could get worse
If I was able to fly
Thank god my chest isn’t iron
The bullets wouldn’t get through
A pump, some blood and a blockade
Some sugar adds to the wounds
Don’t wanna breathe underwater
Don’t wanna live through the drown
If I had sunk right in front of you
Would I even make a sound?
I just marched with the martyrs
Made me feel alive
They told me I could be famous
If I just take the dive
The ledge hangs over the ocean
Its blue eyes fade into green
A sword, some dust and a dark plague
Tattooed my sleepless dreams
I don’t wanna breathe underwater

If I had sunk right in front of you
Would I even make a sound?
My body just needs to float
Headin' down first
Suffocated with hope, or is it just H2O?
Snorkel clogged with pride, a tank of pesticide
To me, my lungs have lied
Now waters where I reside
