Get up half awake, put a pen to page
Pouring like the rain, simply can’t explain

Could it be some kind of a voice or sign
Visiting from somewhere outside
It hits me like the salty crash of the sand and tide
I’m thinking this genius isn’t mine
Voice is breaking down, I can’t make a sound
Try to force it out, switch the words around
Just when I give up, think I tried hard enough
I can feel it touch, I can feel it’s love
It’s here and gone
