The paper round took ages,
The leaflets were a pain,
I chased tactics for tictacs,
Sweets at the back of my rucksack,
A bespoke service straight to your seat,
Pass the teacher a snickers just to keep 'em sweet,
Business was booming till the school inserted rules,
Plunging profits and my mum was called,
I sold more and the canteen they started to hate,
Internal investigation and it was like watergate.

I was finally asked did the effort I applaud,
