Divine Revelation

It’s noon day and I have a conversation with a friend
Hoping someway, somehow I might be able to break through
Get into his heart
Is there some easy way for me to love him
He’s different
Probably not like many friends that you may know
And the sturggle he owns
Can’t say the majority would know
What he’s feeling
There’s no easy way to understand
Where he’s hurting
Am I the one supposed to show him
I must depend on divine revelation
'cause waht I say will never be enough
What he needs is divine revelation
A supernatural encounter with the Living God
A burning bush- now wouldn’t that be nice for him to see
A Chariot of fire- surely after that he would believe
Maybe a thousand sunsets upon a mountain top
Maybe a gentle thunder through the center of his heart
I must depend on divine revelation
'cause waht I say will never be enough
What he needs is divine revelation
A supernatural encounter with the Living God
Here I am willing Lord
Use me if You choose
Cause You know the longing of my heart
To see this flower bloom
