I’m more than what
Can say of me
My identity
Is not in my history
All of the best of me
Is in my dreams
And if I had voice I would sing

Inside of me
Color and shape
I don’t wait
I’m more than what a mirror
Sees of me
I’m not the model type
Most clothes won’t fit me right
Maybe I don’t fit in
With anything

My voice would rise above
And carry me
I’ve walked along this path alone
I’ve seen my share of things
And now it’s only I who know what any of it means
