The Dialectic

We stand watching the world go by,
And calm dustings of men march on
Rallied by the timing’s cry,
To leave again their quiet homes
We stand watching the world collapse,
As sound and sight now both decay
Lives and logic set time in pass,
The future fallen find death today
When sight is lost, in place is sound,
We can still see from above
Can still hear the roamers crash around
The warrior stripping flesh from the dove
The veil is lifted while the roar dies off, and quiet dustings of men march on
