Ethiopian Coffee

She was my Ababa
That made my life adis
That flower that made my life new
Her voice melted through her throat like butter
It was an eclipse when we looked at each other
I was the sun and she was the moon
We complimented each other like night and day
Hand in hand we walked the streets
She made my blood boil as I blew on her lips
Way up above sea level we flew
The skies whistled in pentantonic scales
Blowing her dark wavy hair
Her high pitched voice tickled my night
Like a soft white linen cloth she embraced me
She’s from a strong bloodline so she can enlighten me
So she hugged me like she was losing me
I felt her heart sink into me
In my hands with care I kiss her more
I could always have more of that
