Changing Seasons

My drawers and desktop are emptied
of the words that never helped me
I grew up in a house with big windows on the river side
My thoughts drifted up and out them on and on
O`er the mystery of the land and across the ocean
Every new place hovers with lowered ceilings
I could never find a lover to lay beside
and watch the changing seasons on and on
I tossed the lullaby with my work in mind
Another room restored to a time long before
without a trace of my time in this place not fit for a home
