Always the same thing rehashed and re-exhausted
What’s the use in going there if there we’ve already gotten
Every thing that we need
How much more can we feed?
Don’t believe their heart, just work hard and be hyperactive
Billboards, websites, magazines, scrunch it all up, scrap it
Bated breath on your every word
On a hook like a worm
We are all impermanent
Here and gone, nothing more than it
Always the same day renewed and re-forgotten
Fills me with fear of feeling hopeless below the bottom
Love is blind so is greed
All that’s frightening to me
Nothing to say, no one’s listening, they’re just ignoring
Finding new ways to keep on building, to keep destroying
