I Am No More

Oh my thoughts, they are of iron
And my dreams, they are of steel
For my world has no horizon
When I was younger my hopes were growing
I found a love and this we shared
There were no limits, no thought of losing

The road is broken
It’s time to close the door
The day is sleeping

The walls of grey, the garden climbing
The grinding hours, the chimneys tall
We did not know, we could not see

The gift I gave, I did not value
I could not see, for I was blind
