Calico, Alone

In the morning, I don’t do nothing
Bite my tongue and the sun gets born
See the crows and ravens are swarming
Something must’ve died out in the corn

Thunder rolls

Comb my hair in front of the mirror
Scrape my skin with the razor’s blade
Rub my eyes so I can see clearer
Dump the ashes out of the tray
