I’m Grateful
I look up at the heavens when day is through
Once again, there’s a good day I owe to you
With a world to watch over, still you watch me too
I’m grateful, grateful.
When I sit at my table, I say a prayer
For the good things upon it that you put there
And my loved ones around me, not an empty chair

You have sent me good times
You have sent me bad times
Through the good and bad times
You always send me a song to sing
When I lye on my pillow, I’m thankful for
All the wonders you’ve given and more in store
And you in your kindness wakes me up once more
