The First Noel, the angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields where they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter’s night that was so deep
Beautiful baby lying there beneath the shining star
Looking at your mama through those lovely eyes
Do you know who you are
Wrapped in a blanket on the hay

Lowly shepherds and mighty kings
Have waited for your birth

Peace and joy on earth
Promise of a better way
