Finding Your Place

When you told me how sad you were
I couldn’t believe my ears for I was at the same time
And what you said before about trying to

But look at all of the beautiful things surrounding you

These are the fruits of what has been haunting you
I know it’s hard to find
Something gold in the midst of a wretched ???, but you did
You did just fine
What you said then, I could not hold
In my hands or in my heart, in fact I dropped right down on to the floor
Th fact is you you’re a carried soul, you can feel the burden of the
World on the face of the man that walked right past you
These are the fruits of what has been haunting you
I know it’s hard to find
Something good from that past that was handed to you
