I took my money to the cleaner
And for a price it came back greener
Now the time has come for renovations
In the neighborhood all the apparitions are leaving
And if not for good, then at least for now
I will be alone for as long as they will allow
The sadness and the dull routine
Is perfect for the opening scene
The lazy bastard with a spark
Who never left a mark
In this house and on my lawn

On Southill Drive I saw a ghost
