Death of the Ego

In total void, an eternal motion:
A pulse, a vibration — the life resides not in energy
Nor its lack, but in Emptiness.
The birds travel East: a pilgrimage of wanderlust.
Not in breathing, nor in expiration —
The Heart bleeds words of wisdom
When still. He who walks with you,
when you walk alone knows the truth:
«All Buddhas in the past, present and future
by practicing
the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore
are all capable of attaining
Authentic and Perfect Enlightenment.»
But I had killed Buddha, when I met her near
The Gateless Gate, that starless night,
When chysanthema blessed the ambience
With discordant fragrance. And my heart «e:
«All bear the mark of Emptiness;
their true nature is the nature of
no Birth no Death,
no Being no Non-being,
no Defilement no Purity,
no Increasing no Decreasing.»
Beyond Body and Spirit, Life
And death, hate and love, the interlocking
Wedding of opposites and synonyms, beyond the
chemical union, lies my Heart watering
the Wisdom of Chrysanthema.
