Taken for a ride there’s no purpose in time I believe
Breath in this air a trillion times until eventually…
So I’d consider all the ways I could make this ride okay and just exist
Found some meaning with a tab on my tongue and outer space
Fourteen years of age smoked a plant and saw God in my own face
Too long in a mirror and you can really start to fear this place
So I went looking for answers in a bottle and took myself out of the race
Until one night at a party things got rowdy and I got laced
So it goes all around my head
And I ran back to all my friends
They were replaced with my demons
They didn’t know that I was scared
Because they were too
Circling the yard with a pack of wolves clipping at my heels
Held in a lock until my eyes couldn’t see
And I woke up alone naked pissed myself apparently
Ran home still trying to understand what’s happened to me
