Where to begin
I feel like drowning in high waters
Times have past so fast
And it’s just the memories that last
I twist and turn them, make them mine
Throughout the course of time
Shadows invert
And things that once hurt
Are scars now to keep me safe
I hope that I’m dead when I die
I hope there’s nothing and this remains unique
And all there is and all there was is one
No hide and seek
Even the smallest creek
Runs high sometimes
The flood will catch us
Lead us astray
And bring up parts of us we hid away
