Be Perfect

How can I be perfect?
I’m so full of sin
Of God’s glory I fall short (Rom. 3: 23)
How can I be reconciled to Him? (Rom. 5: 10)
God grants justification, a free gift
By His grace, propitiation (Rom. 3: 24−25)
For all of our sins (1 John 2: 2)
How can I be perfect?
I’m so full of sin
He’s perfected for all time
Those being sanctified in Him (Heb. 10: 14)
He’s removed from us our transgressions
The distance of the east from the west (Psalm 103: 12)
Jesus bore the sins of many (Isaiah 53: 12)
And He is our advocate (1 John 2: 1)
Ever interceding (Heb. 7: 25)
How can I be perfect?
I’m so full of sin
He’s perfected for all time
Those being sanctified in Him
By one single offering (Heb. 10: 14)
Jesus ransomed us
Not with an amount of money
Bought with precious blood (1 Pet. 1: 18−19)
