Think They Show Speed Racer Here?

I count the days pass through my head.
Feel the dark clouds hanging above me.
I stay up each night & think of everything around I’ve grown to know,
and just how I feel about this place.
I’m not stuck, just want to get out.
Start the car and take me back
to those hills where I once was,
away from all our deep fears.
From the highest peak to the ground.
So it goes on…
I can’t make the best out of what I have in sight.
Just waste away cause we’ve got nothing else to fight.
I know these streets like the end to every book.
I won’t stick around to watch everything disappear.
Where can we go?
The air’s made of poison, it filled my lungs with hate.
The leaves are all dying, while we all fade away.
So paint a picture of anywhere but here,
and leave a time bomb wherever this will end.
