Restore my faith in what I once knew
Restore my faith in what I used to believe
Take me back to a time when I felt like the world was on my side
Not my enemy
Can you feel that
Can you feel the weight or the world
Resting on your shoulders
You take on others problems
Neglecting yourself
Oblivious to the fact you need help
You were the one they turned to
When they were scared you swore you’d never leave
But when you cry out for their help
They are all too blind to see
So pick yourself up Find someone else
Willing to listen
Because
You deserve true friends
Companions that will last till the end
It’s a cold hard fact
Some people only look out for them selves
They will use and abuse
Anyone kind enough to offer them a helping hand
But you can’t let them get you down
Your worth much more then they trouble they give you
Don’t think you worth
Anything less
Then the best
And if they treat you any worse
