Hello misty mountains, blue in the light of dawn
Hello rolling' river, rambling' right along
Hello fresh air, filling' up my lungs so I can say
Hello world, thanks for another day
Well the sun ain’t shown its face yet
But he’s coloring the clouds
Painting me a picture that must make the Maker proud
And the mourning dove is singing
A song in the morning stars
And it’s a peaceful feeling being happy where you are
Happy right there where you are

Looking mighty proud of his tail

As a couple of quiet white tails turn and look my way
Flick their rears and then they disappear into the gray
If they could, wonder if they’d say
