You packed your bags and vanished
murder on your mind
looking for a better life
something more defined
I’ll see you in your daydreams
we can find new games to play
I’ll remember what you told me should we meet again someday

Stepping back into the shadows
from the madness of your smile
the wind has banged the shutters shut
our sanity’s on trial
