Your eyes are closed, swollen from many tears
«I set a table, prepared the way for you» she said
«And you were distracted while intently searched for you»
Wisdom cries, through the lies
Let her in, don’t despise her
‘Cause evil things, and the grief it brings
Won’t help you when, famine sings its song
«Why are you crying» she asked me gently
«Take back the years, don’t live in fear, or unrighteous folly ««I've spent my days, wasting away, ignored your knocking
When you are worth more than finest of gold
Please now don’t leave me.»
